CODE YELLOW!
What an exciting day as Lunch Lady at my son's school! First of all - it was Grilled Cheese Day - as requested by me! Yes kids, thank ME for the Grilled Cheese today at school! mmmmm!But that wasn't even the best part! There was a CODE YELLOW! There are 3 lunch periods and inbetween the 1st and 2nd lunches, there was an armed robbery at a near by shopping center. So while the cops were cruising around trying to find the bad guys, the school was on lock down! All doors and windows locked up tight! ( The students were all back to their classrooms before the Code Yellow went into effect.)
We (the other lunch lady's) were in the cafeteria and our fearless leader - Queen Lunch Lady Mary - and Cool Gym Teacher Lady were on the walkie-talkies with the Principal. A few squad cars cruised in and out of the parking lot looking for the perp (something I picked up after years of watching Law & Order...and of course from my 2 days on Jury Duty last week). Our Principal was the hero of the day with the comment "I am ready to run over anyone that comes into this parking lot."
After about 45 minutes, it went CODE GREEN - which meant all clear - so we could continue the lunch service and were free to move about the cabin. HOWEVER, it was at that precise time that the clouds opened up and it POURED rain! I had to leave to come to work, so I couldn't help the other ladies who serve the kids lunch and haul alllllllll the stuff over to the school!

Tuesday Gossip!
Say it ain't so! The Obama's almost got divorced? Yes, according to the National Enquirer, there is a new book coming out (by author Christopher Andersen) that says back when Barack was an Illinois State Senator times were rocky! He and Michelle weren't communicating, romance was out the window and the sex was gone! Mich wanted him to play a bigger role at home or it was over! Needless to say, he must have stepped as they seem to be happy again!
* Amy! What are you doing? Word on the street is Amy Winehouse is getting back together with her bad news ex-husband Blake! The divorce was final only a week ago, but supposedly they met up on Friday and WENT TO A BAR! After drinks Amy snuck him into her place THROUGH A WINDOW! Security as strict orders to keep that low life out of her newly cleaned up life.
* Looks like Rihanna might have a new love in her life! Some dude named Travis London turned her head and they have been out on numerous dates over the past week in LA. Travis used to date Michelle Tanner aka Mary Kate Olsen.
* Kim Kardashian is telling the world her sister Khloe is happily dating Lamar Odom of the LA Lakers! Lamar just signed a nice 4 year deal with the Lakers for $33 million! He's got 2 kids - 10 and 7. Lamar said "Khloe is smart and beautiful and that is very hard to find." TRACY NOTE: I went to DASH in Miami over the weekend....blah blah blah. Wasn't impressed.
* Just another reason to love love love Sandra Bullock! She told Parade magazine that "There's more to life than just looking for the right guy. If I can do anything in this time of my career, it's to make it easier for girls who are growing up not to feel they have to wind up with someone to complete them. You know, I complete me. I'm just lucky that after I completed myself, I met someone who could tolerate me." She of course is married to super cool dude Jessie James.
* Poor Jessica Simpson. The girl just can't get a break. Jess was a surprise guest model at French fashion show last Thursday and her dress was HORRIBLE! It looked like a suped up Hefty Bag. The designer was Ozlem Suers.
* 2 places I don't think a person should Twitter - in the loo and at a funeral. Violating one of these two was Al Sharpton who was tweeting while at Michael Jackson's funeral.

Time to go to the Pottery Barn and pick up a gravy boat! The New York Post said Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly (of Friday Night Lights) are engaged and tying the knot in the fall after baseball season! BUT - save the receipt....Minka's rep says no wedding planned to Derek Jeter.
* UNtying the knot - possibly Avril Lavigne and Deryck Wehibley of SUM 41! He's just a band boy and said see ya later boy!
* I don't think I want friends like Jessica Simpson's! They were trying to console her about her break up with Tony Romo by saying that he hit on them while still dating her! WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL HER THAT SOONER?!?
* "I only comment on other people's lives, not my own" That is something I'd say! But it came from Chelsea Handler when asked about her break up with her boss - Comcast CEO Ted Harbert.
* From the TMI File - Kourtney Kardashian wants us to know that she went to her doctor to inquire about breastfeeding her future baby. Dr said - "You just need to try it because you won't know til you try".
* If I would have known I would have send flowers and chocolate and candy and a stuffed animal! George Clooney broke his hand a few months ago when is slammed it in a car door on his property in Lake Como, Italy! He is fine and will be able to hold my hand very soon.
* Uh Oh....Lilo is in trouble! Turns out some of the stuff that was stolen (when the perps walked into her house through the UNLOCKED DOOR) was $2 MILLION worth of borrowed jewelry from 14 Karats. A source says "If something is not resolved soon, there will be legal action".
* Way back in 2001, John Mayer was arrested in the ATL for driving with a suspended license. The charge was eventually dropped. Well, for some reason, he challenged TMZ to produce the mugshot. If they did, he'd donate $25K to the charity of their choice. Well, both TMZ and The Smoking Gun found the pic and John's wallet is a little lighter.
* Cancel that family trip to the Forest Lawn Cemetery....Security is gonna be TIGHT for MJ's funeral and they are saying you won't even see the green of the Forest Lawn.
* If you've always wanted to be a dead rock star, but don't rock and aren't dead....Guitar Hero 5 now has your chance. The game comes out on Tuesday and dead Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain will be a featured playable character.

Key West Trip!!!
Hunter and I just had the BEST WEEKEND EVER!!! We had a Last Weekend Before School and Tracy's Birthday trip to Key West! We stayed the the Westin - Key West! It really is the only hotel you should even consider when you stay in Key West! It's exactly where you want to be. It's on the ocean/gulf...it's right next to Mallory Square...has an amazing Sunset Celebration and it's like 1 block from Duvall! Plus that place smells soooo good! I meant to buy their signature fragrance but I forgot! Guess I'll just have to go back! I was dreading the drive, but Hunter and I had a blast driving to and from Key West! It was nice to break it up and have lunch at The Marriott in Key Largo! Yummmmm! Check out our pics! I think I need a vacation from my vacation!
