Sadly, Hunter's fish Silver died.....again. See this is actually Silver 2. Silver 1 died when H was up in Wisconsin for his summer vacation. I fed the thing all the time and it still died. We fed this guy all the time and he died. Now don't say - maybe you fed him too much. It was a little shark and it said to feed it every 3 days. That is exactly what we did. The problem I THINK may have been when we went on the nightmare camping trip, I put one of those 3 day feeder pyramids in the tank and I don't think it dissolved correctly to disperse the food.So before Hunter came back from WI, I bought a Silver look alike and he was none the wiser and didn't have to deal with the heart ache of a dead fish.
The last fish I killed - yes, I have a talent at this - was Neal. I changed the water one day and Hunter came home from school.....Neal was floating. I think the water change was a shock and he croaked. Neal, to this day, resides in my freezer. He was in the freezer at our old place and had to be moved to our new residence.
I consulted God on what to do with this one. Do I tell H that he died, or do I blame in on the eel in the tank. We thought it best to flush Silver 2 and blame it on the eel.
I am crossing my fingers that he doesn't notice tonight so I can make a trip to the store tomorrow morning to buy Silver 3....poor guy...he doesn't know he's going to death row.

TAMI - maybe it is time to say if you love neal so much lets stuff him and you can sleep with him, but he is creeping the hell out of the fish stick...neal has to go.
